UltiM8™ Tools for Locksmiths
Unlike other letterbox kits, the UlltiM8 design uses a strong, lightweight tubular construction which glides effortlessly unlike the ‘boxed-tubing’ used by other kits. Another unique feature of the XL Letterbox Kit is that you can adjust your reach incrementally by the tiniest amount, in fact by just 1cm at a time which puts you effortlessly exactly where you want to, be time & time again.
Component Parts
The following goods come packed in a study black case in-printed with the Black Scorpion ensuring that you don’t get it confused with other cases on the van.
All the products fit snuggly into foam cut-outs on both sides of the case.
Linking Rods
There are FOUR sturdy, lightweight connecting rods which attach to your kit quickly & effortlessly using the ‘Push/pull & Click’ system used universally by the medical industry, allowing you to reach as far as anyone needs to.
Angled Rod
Included in your kit is also an angled connecting rod which allows for more versatility, additional adaptability & usefulness, ensuring that when it comes to those difficult to get to or awkward angles, you’re right on target which means no more faffing about.
Connecting/Extension Shafts
Another exclusive design is utilised on the connection/extension shafts whereby you can extend or reduce your reach by as little as 1cm. There’s two of these unique extension pieces, one small & one large offering up to 17 incremental adjustments on the larger of the two rods alone.
A Universal Connector-Head
A very agreeable connector that permits a 360° (degree) turn, making your Letterbox Tool more flexible, with more adjustments that you can ever need. The head uses a universal fit for several tool-heads to be connected depending on requirements.
Threaded Push/Pull/Draw Bar
Your Black Scorpion Push/Pull/Draw Bar has a coned shape to help you overcome several applications in the field such as the Ingersoll & draw-locks too. The bar also has a ‘futureproof’ threaded centre which means that future innovations can quickly & efficiently be attached.

Primary Letterbox Tool Handle
Your kit includes the Primary ‘U’ Bend Handle to which your other component parts are attached. The unique handle incorporates a stabilising bar to help you achieve superior handling. The soft-touch shrink-wrapped handle ensures comfort & added durability.
Threaded ‘Duo’ Connector
The ‘Duo’ Connector holds your component parts together & tightens/adjusts from both ends ensuring your tool-heads are held securely in place.
The UltiM8 Spiiders
The XL Black Scorpion Letterbox tool includes not one but two Spiiders; one straight & one right angled, to pull draw-bolts, unlock door-chains, pick up keys, lift or drop snibs & even undo door bolts & lots more besides.
